Cotton sateen is woven in a satin weave and has a smooth, slightly lustrous surface. It feels soft and relatively cool while remaining breathable like cotton. Quality and feel also depend on the yarn, thread count and finishing.

Wash bed linen inside out, close any zips and sort by colour. Washing temperature, drying and ironing should follow the care label. Avoiding an overfilled drum reduces creasing and allows thorough rinsing.

The common single-duvet size is 135 × 200 cm; for taller people, 155 × 220 cm is a widely used comfort length. Double-duvet sets are available, among other sizes, in 200 × 200 cm. Common pillow sizes are 80 × 80 cm and 40 × 80 cm. Check your duvet, pillows and the contents of the set before buying.

Depending on the collection, our bed linen is made from cotton, often as finely woven cotton sateen. Material, weave and thread count vary between ranges. The exact composition and origin are stated in the product details and should not be inferred from the information about our terry products.

The “Made in Germany” statement on our website mainly refers to our own terry production. Manufacturing may differ for our bed linen; according to the product description, individual ranges are made in countries such as Portugal. Always check the stated origin of the specific item.

The contents of the set depend on the size. For single-bed sizes, a set typically consists of one duvet cover and one pillowcase; larger double-bed sets may contain two pillowcases. The definitive number of items and dimensions are stated directly on the relevant product page.

A concealed zip is quick to open and close and keeps the duvet or pillow securely inside the cover. Buttons are easy to replace but take longer when changing the bed linen. Clean workmanship and the specific product information are what matter.

Thread Count, abbreviated as TC, refers to the number of threads within a defined area. A higher value can indicate a denser fabric, but on its own it is not a complete measure of quality. Yarn quality, weave, workmanship and care are just as important. For selected ranges, we state specific TC values in the product details.

Items can be returned to us free of charge within 30 days. Please use the return form included in the parcel and the DHL return label, or the link provided in the shipping confirmation. Goods should be returned complete and in their original condition; sets must not be separated.

Yes. We deliver to the European Union member states listed on our shipping page. EU standard shipping costs €9.90; orders of €100 or more qualify for free shipping. Please check the country list or checkout to see whether we currently deliver to your destination country.

For many products that are immediately available, we currently state a delivery time of approximately 1 to 3 working days. Delivery may take longer if availability differs or order volumes are seasonally high.

Depending on the country and order, available payment methods include PayPal, PayPal Express, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit card, SEPA direct debit and payment by invoice. iDEAL is available for the Netherlands and EPS for Austria. Payment by invoice is generally available, subject to a successful credit check. We provide the invoice with the shipping confirmation; it must be paid within 14 days of receipt. If the delivery address and billing address are different, we cannot offer payment by invoice.

Used, worn or washed goods, as well as custom-made items such as embroidered or printed products, are excluded from our voluntary returns or exchange service. Your statutory rights remain unaffected; our customer service team can assist you with individual cases.
