Statement on Digital Accessibility
Our goal is to provide all people—regardless of physical, mental, or technical limitations—with equal access to our products and services.
We align ourselves with the requirements of the EU Directive on the accessibility of products and services (European Accessibility Act, EAA) as well as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.
Current Status of Accessibility on This Website
Our website (www.moeve.de) has been evaluated for accessibility, and we strive to fully meet the WCAG 2.1 – conformance level AA.
The current status includes, among others:
- Alternative text implemented for over 90% of product images
- High-contrast color design for text, buttons, and links
- Navigation and search operable via keyboard
- Zoom function up to 200% without loss of functionality
- Forms mostly equipped with ARIA labels
- New videos provided with subtitles
We conduct regular internal and external tests, including tools like Siteimprove and manual screen reader checks, to continuously implement improvements.
Notes on Non-Accessible Content
Despite significant progress, there are isolated areas with limited accessibility:
- Some product images without sufficient descriptions
- PDFs not yet fully accessible
- Homepage slider not operable by keyboard
- Older videos without subtitles (being gradually added)
Status: These issues have been identified, prioritized, and are in progress—we aim for timely adjustments.
