What Are Our Short Bathrobes Made Of?

Our short MÖVE bathrobes are made from the finest yarns with great attention to detail. They are mostly crafted from premium cotton, which – due to its special properties – is particularly suitable for our bathrobes: highly absorbent, soft, and easy to care for. Cotton can be processed in various ways, so in particular, we use terry cloth. This is the classic material with the familiar loops on the front and back. In addition, the weight of the material plays a role: a bathrobe weighing approx. 400 g/m² is noticeably plusher than a summery short kimono with approx. 250 g/m².

Which Short Bathrobes Do We Offer?

The advantages of a short bathrobe are obvious: it is lighter and airier, allowing plenty of freedom for the legs. This makes it ideal for the warmer months, for travel, and for being on the move. For petite people, a short bathrobe is a great alternative to a long robe, as its length automatically adapts to the wearer’s height without being too long.

We offer our short bathrobes as hooded robes and kimonos. The hooded robe is made of cosy cotton terry, and its relaxed belt and patch pockets make it especially comfortable. It is available in a variety of colours in sizes 36 – 42.

Two airy-light kimonos are perfect for summer, sunshine, and spending time outdoors. Due to their lightweight and soft, supple material, they are ideal for a day at the beach or pool. Their striking all-over patterns make them an instant luxurious eye-catcher. Especially practical: these elegant kimonos are cut in such a way that we can offer them in a one-size-fits-most design.
