Sauna Bathrobes by MÖVE – Quality Made in Germany
Our MÖVE sauna bathrobes are produced in Germany, Made in Germany – according to the highest German standards. The in-house production, including logistics, is located in Großschönau (Saxony), a place with a long-standing tradition: even in the Baroque era, European princes had precious damasks woven here. In 1856, Germany’s first terry loom was put into operation in Großschönau, establishing an important centre for terry weaving.
Today, MÖVE uses 30 jacquard looms to produce high-quality terry products, including our sauna bathrobes. Unique in the industry, MÖVE employs 240 staff members and has a fully integrated production, meaning the entire manufacturing process – from warp production through weaving and dyeing to finishing – takes place in-house. Sustainability and environmental protection are given equal importance alongside modern production, the quality of our bathrobes, and the expertise of our employees.

Our MÖVE sauna bathrobes are made from high-quality terry, primarily produced from the finest cotton. The hooded sauna robe from the MÖVE WELLNESS collection is made from 100% natural cotton with a hollow core (Spinair). This allows the robe to absorb a lot of water and dry quickly – perfect for spa and sauna use.
Our most popular collection, MÖVE SUPERWUSCHEL, also includes cotton sauna robes. They are available in various colours and offer a particularly cosy feel thanks to the hood. The extra-selected, ultra-soft premium cotton makes these robes especially fluffy, soft, and highly absorbent.
The shawl-collar sauna robe from the MÖVE EDEN collection stands out for its material blend of 80% natural cotton and 20% black linen. This gives it a luxurious texture and an elegant appearance.
What Sizes Are Available?
Our MÖVE sauna robes are generally available in the classic sizes S – XL. For particularly petite figures, we also offer size XS. And for taller individuals, XXL is naturally available so that everyone feels comfortable in a sauna robe.
How Should You Care for a Sauna Bathrobe?
Terry – the material from which our sauna robes are made – is generally very easy to care for. Coloured terry can be washed at 60°C with a mild detergent without optical brighteners. White terry maintains its brightness when washed at higher temperatures with a full detergent. Afterwards, simply air-dry, or for an extra fluffy experience, tumble dry gently. The robe is then ready to use immediately. To ensure long-lasting enjoyment of your bathrobe, always follow the care instructions on the label.
