It serves as a soft and comfortable base and also fulfils the same hygienic function as bed linen – in this case protecting the mattress or topper. Cotton satin fitted sheets in various colours
Cotton satin fitted sheets are particularly luxurious and create a pleasant, soft feeling on the skin. The special weaving technique gives the material its delicate sheen, while the high thread count of 300 tc (= thread count) results in a noticeably smooth and fine surface. In summer, the material provides a pleasantly cooling effect, while in winter it offers subtle warmth.

What sizes are available?
If you are planning to buy a high-quality fitted sheet, you should of course know the size of your bed or mattress(es). Is it a single or double bed, and how many mattresses need to be covered in total? Three fitted sheet sizes are available, each with a practical elastic edge that allows them to be fitted smoothly and without creases to various mattress sizes.
- 100x200 cm – ideal for single beds or mattresses from 90 cm in width
- 160x200 cm – perfect for a double bed or mattresses from 140 cm in width
- 200x200 cm – the best choice for a large mattress in the stated size
Good to know: the pocket depth of all MÖVE fitted sheets is 30 cm, which is 10 cm deeper than most standard fitted sheets available on the market. This makes MÖVE fitted sheets perfectly suitable for box spring beds.
Cleaning and caring for a fitted sheet
As bed linen and fitted sheets are in direct and frequent contact with the skin, they should be changed and cleaned regularly. As a rule of thumb, this should be done every one to two weeks. In general, high-quality cotton satin fitted sheets can easily be machine washed at 60°C. To avoid colour fading or greying, colours should ideally be washed with similar shades, and whites with whites. Afterwards, drying can be done in the traditional way on a clothes line or at a low temperature in a tumble dryer. For a perfectly smooth, crease-free look, ironing – ideally with a steam iron – is recommended.
