What are our MÖVE guest towels made of?

Our MÖVE guest towels are made from natural materials that are processed with great care and attention to detail. This means that we use only the finest cotton or attractive material blends such as cotton/linen or cotton/viscose made from bamboo cellulose. These are woven into fine terry cloth, giving them their typical surface with many loops. Soft guest towels made from 100% finest cotton can be found, for example, in the MÖVE SUPERWUSCHEL, MÖVE LOFT, or MÖVE NEW ESSENTIAL collections. If you prefer something even softer, the MÖVE BAMBOO LUXE series made from cotton/viscose from bamboo cellulose is the perfect choice. For a gentle massage effect, on the other hand, choose guest towels with a linen content from our MÖVE EDEN, MÖVE BOHEME, or MÖVE BROOKLYN collections. The guest towels from our MÖVE WELLBEING collection made of organic cotton and European linen impressively demonstrate that sustainability and high-quality design are not mutually exclusive. Which guest towel is right for me?

All MÖVE guest towels are produced in the classic size of 30 x 50 cm. The choice of guest towel certainly depends on several factors. In addition to personal preferences regarding color and design, the intended use and the available space are, of course, also decisive. In other words, are the guest towels intended for guests or for personal use, and will they complement the existing hand and bath towels in the bathroom, or is there a separate guest restroom?

If you use guest towels in their original sense—namely for guests—they can certainly differ in color from the rest of the décor. If you need guest towels for the family, they can, for example, come from a color range that matches the existing collections in the bathroom. How often should you change a MÖVE guest towel?

Of course, a guest towel is not only for guests, but can also be used for daily personal use. How often it should be changed depends on how many people live in the household and how often the guest towel is used during the day. If you live alone and use the guest towel infrequently, changing it every two to three days is completely sufficient. If two people live in the household, for hygiene reasons each person should have their own guest towel, which should also be changed every two to three days. If several people live under one roof, for space reasons a MÖVE towel measuring 50 x 100 cm may be a better option for all family members instead of a guest towel measuring 30 x 50 cm. However, to ensure that health and hygiene are not compromised, the towel should then be changed daily. And if a family member becomes ill, it goes without saying that they should have their own guest towel during that time, which is replaced daily. It is therefore advisable to have several guest towels from one or different MÖVE collections on hand.
