What materials are MÖVE bed linens made from?
Only carefully selected materials and the highest level of craftsmanship are used for our MÖVE bed linens. Our MÖVE LUXURY collection is made from 100% high-quality cotton satin with a thread count of 300 tc. The MÖVE NOBLESSE bed linen is made from 100% premium Supima cotton and has a thread count of 500 tc.
Thread count indicates how many threads are woven per square inch. The higher the thread count, the denser the fabric and the finer the yarn used. This makes the fabric even smoother, more skin-friendly and more durable.
Which bed linen material is right for me?
If you love the feeling of smooth, flowing and soft fabrics against the skin, you should opt for satin bed linen, such as our MÖVE LUXURY collections. The long-staple cotton used and the special weaving technique – the satin weave – ensure that the fabric not only has a soft, smooth surface but is also breathable. This makes cotton satin bed linen suitable for all seasons.
Another high-quality, particularly long-staple cotton variety is Supima cotton. Products made from it are characterised by a silky sheen, a soft feel and an exceptionally smooth surface. Those who appreciate this special material should therefore choose our MÖVE NOBLESSE bed linen.
What is the standard size for bed linen?
Duvet covers, pillows and fitted sheets are available in a wide range of sizes. In Germany, the most common and popular size for a duvet cover is 135 x 200 cm. If you are a little taller, the duvet cover size 155 x 220 cm is the ideal choice. The most popular pillow size is 80 x 80 cm, although the smaller size of 80 x 40 cm is also becoming increasingly popular. MÖVE offers the following combinations:
- Set 1) Duvet cover 135 x 200 cm + pillowcase 80 x 80 cm
- Set 2) Duvet cover 155 x 220 cm + pillowcase 80 x 80 cm
- Separate: pillowcases 80 x 40 cm

What size are standard fitted sheets?
Fitted sheets are also available in many different sizes, and the size you choose naturally depends largely on the size of your bed. Our colour-coordinated MÖVE fitted sheets, which match our bed linen, are made from high-quality cotton satin (300 tc) and are available in three sizes:
- For a single bed: 100 x 200 + 30 cm
- For a queen-size bed: 160 x 200 + 30 cm
- For a king-size bed: 200 x 200 + 30 cm
Especially practical: thanks to the 30 cm depth, our MÖVE fitted sheets also fit perfectly on box-spring beds.
