  1. Cookies and web analytics

We use cookies on various pages on this site to make your visit more pleasant, and to enable you to use certain functions, show products that match your interests, or for market research purposes. This serves to protect our legitimate interests of an optimal marketing of our offer within the framework of balancing interests, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR. Google

This website also uses the so-called DoubleClick cookie as part of the Google Analytics application (see below), which enables your browser to be recognised when you visit other websites. This protects our prevailing legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our website allowed per Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR. As a rule, the cookie-generated data regarding your use of this website will be forwarded to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Through the activation of the IP anonymisation on this website, the IP address is thereby reduced before transmission within the Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the entire IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with any other data held by Google.

Google will use this information to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage. This protects our prevailing legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our website allowed per Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR. Google may also transfer this information to third parties as required by law or if said third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Once the purpose for collecting the data and its use by Google DoubleClick no longer applies, it will be deleted.
Google Double Click is a service of Google LLC. (www.google.de).
Headquartered in the US, Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield and under the Swiss-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Companies with Privacy Shield certification have demonstrated appropriate levels of data protection that accord with agreements between the US government and the EU or Switzerland, respectively.

You can disable the DoubleClick cookie via this link. In addition, you can find out about the setting of cookies and make adjustments at the Digital Advertising Alliance. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the use of cookies and decide individually on whether to accept them or to deactivate the acceptance of cookies, just in certain cases or completely. If you reject the use of cookies, our website may have limited functionality.

Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for Web Analytics
For website analysis, this website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analytics service of Google LLC (www.google.de). This serves to protect our legitimate interests of an optimal marketing of our offer within the framework of balancing interests, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies. The automatically collected information about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored in a Google server in the USA. Because IP anonymization is activated on this website, before transmission the IP address is truncated within the Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the entire IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with any other data held by Google. Once the purpose for collecting the data and its use by Google Analytics is ended, it will be deleted.

Google LLC is headquartered in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. As a result of this agreement between the US and the European Commission, the latter has established that companies certified under the Privacy Shield have an adequate level of data protection.

You can also prevent the data generated by cookies about your use of the website (incl. your IP address) from being passed to Google, and the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

As an alternative to the browser plug-in, you can click on  this Link  to prevent Google Analytics from any future collection of your data on this website in the future. This stores an opt-out cookie on your device. If you delete your cookies, you will need to click on the link again.

In addition, this website uses Google Signals. This is an extension of Google Analytics, allowing cross-device tracking. This means that as long as your Internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account, Google can create reports about your usage behaviour (especially cross-device user counts), even if you change your device. For this, Google will use data if you have activated the personalized advertising setting in your Google Account.
This serves to protect our legitimate interests of an optimal marketing of our offer within the framework of balancing interests, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR.

We do not process personal data in this respect; we only receive statistics based on Google Signals. At any time, you can opt out of personalized advertising" in your Google account; this would prevent Google Signals from collecting your data.

Microsoft Bing Ads and Universal Event Tracking (UET)

Through Bing Ads, a Microsoft advertising programme, our online ads appear on Microsoft's search engine Bing, Yahoo, and partner sites. Once you click on a Bing Ads ad, Microsoft sets a cookie. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer. The cookie allows us and Microsoft to recognize that you have reached our website via the ad we placed on another website. The cookie does not collect personal information. The information collected in the cookie is transmitted to Microsoft servers in the United States. The cookie will be automatically deleted after 180 days at the latest.

In addition, we use Universal Event Tracking (UET) from Microsoft: For this purpose, we have installed a tag on our website, with which we can understand what users do after coming to our website via Bing Ads. For example, we can see which websites you visit, the duration of your visit, or whether you make a purchase and can thus optimize our marketing. Microsoft uses the information to show users interest-based advertising on websites and for its own purposes, such as improving Microsoft services and performance analysis.

The use of cookies and the UET function serve to optimize our marketing per Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR. The use of your data for marketing purposes is within our legitimate interests per GDPR.

You can use the settings in your browser to set cookies to be blocked and deleted. In addition, you may object to Microsoft's use of the data to provide you with interest-based advertising by disabling its setting through the following link: https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings/

Bing Ads and UET are services of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. Microsoft is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield, an agreement that ensures compliance with EU data protection laws. Embedding of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge
The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is embedded on this website to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and any evaluations collected, as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers following an order.

This protects our prevailing legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our website and allowing a secure shopping experience per Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offer from Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany. Further information on the privacy policy of Trusted Shops GmbH can be found here:

https://www.trustedshops.de/impressum/#datenschutz

When the Trustbadge is loaded, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains such data as your IP address, date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data). Individual access data is stored for analysis of security issues in a security database. The log files are automatically deleted no later than 90 days after creation.

Additional personal data will be transferred to Trusted Shops GmbH if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or you have already registered to use it. In this case, the contractual agreement concluded between you and Trusted Shops applies. For this purpose, personal data from the order details will be automatically collected. Whether you are already a registered user for a product use is automatically checked against a neutral parameter using a one-way crypto-hashed email address. The e-mail address will be converted into this hash value which cannot be decrypted by Trusted Shops prior to transmission. After checking for a match, the parameter is automatically deleted.

This is to fulfil our prevailing legitimate interest and that of Trusted Shops in the provision of specific buyer protection and the evaluation of transactions per Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR. Further details, including the opportunity to object to this use of your data, can be found in the Trusted Shops Privacy Policy above and in the Trustbadge.
