Our MÖVE sauna towels are manufactured entirely in Germany. In our traditional manufactory in Großschönau (Saxony), terry products of the highest quality have been created for generations. As early as the Baroque period, precious damasks for European princes were woven there, and in 1856 Germany’s first terry weaving loom went into operation. To this day, we produce according to the strictest standards, combining craftsmanship, sustainability, and state-of-the-art technology.
Why a sauna towel is indispensable
A regular sauna visit is not even permitted without a sauna towel – and for good reason. Unlike ordinary towels, sauna towels are extra large (80 x 200 cm) and serve several purposes at once: they act as a hygienic base, provide a comfortable surface for lying and sitting, and at the same time protect privacy when you wrap yourself in them. Anyone who wants to enjoy a sauna session relaxing while lying down will find ample space on a generously sized sauna towel. MÖVE has a fully integrated production process, which is unique in the industry: from yarn to weaving and dyeing all the way to finishing, every step takes place in our own manufacturing facility. This allows us to guarantee not only the highest quality but also sustainable production. Easy care and durable
Our sauna towels are made of high-quality terry cloth that not only feels pleasantly soft but is also especially easy to care for. Colored towels can be washed at 60°C with mild detergent without any problems, while white terry retains its brightness even at higher temperatures.
