Towels

Most of our towels are made from cotton. Depending on the collection, blends with linen or viscose are also used. Cotton typically provides absorbency and softness; linen gives a more textured, robust feel, while viscose can add sheen and a particularly soft handle. The exact composition is stated in the product details.

A pulled terry loop should not be torn out. Carefully cut the protruding thread level with the surrounding loops without damaging the base fabric. Terry is a looped fabric, so cutting an individual loop will not normally cause the fabric to unravel. Washing before first use also helps make the surface denser.

We manufacture our terry products in Großschönau, Saxony. In our own production facility, the process runs from warp preparation through weaving and dyeing to finishing. Product-specific information on the relevant product page remains authoritative.

Light, dark and coloured terry products should be washed separately. For coloured towels, we recommend a mild detergent without optical brighteners; for white terry products, an all-purpose detergent can occasionally help maintain their whiteness. Washing temperature and tumble-drying suitability must always follow the sewn-in care label.

Fabric softener should be used very sparingly on terry products. A high dose can reduce absorbency and encourage linting. For a soft result, the correct amount of detergent, an appropriate drum load and – where permitted by the care label – gentle tumble drying are usually a better approach.

Yes. We recommend washing terry products before their first use. This helps rinse out any excess dye residue, allows the surface to become denser and may reduce the risk of pulled loops. Always follow the care label on the specific item.

The yarns and components we use for terry products are certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Product Class 1. This means the textiles are tested for harmful substances and meet particularly strict requirements for products with close skin contact. The current certification of the specific item should be checked on the product page or label.

New terry products may initially feel less absorbent because of production-related residues and loops that have not yet fully opened up. Washing before first use and subsequent wash cycles allow the surface to develop its typical structure. Avoid using too much fabric softener, as it can coat the fibres and reduce water absorption.

The fabric weight in grams per square metre describes how much the fabric weighs per unit of area. A higher value often means greater volume and a denser feel, but also more weight and usually a longer drying time. A lower value may feel lighter and dry more quickly. The intended use, material and weave should therefore all be considered when choosing a towel.

For hands and face, 50 × 100 cm is the classic everyday size. Our range commonly includes shower towels in 67 × 140 cm or 80 × 150 cm, bath sheets of around 100 × 160 cm and sauna towels of around 80 × 200 cm. Smaller items range from wash mitts to guest towels.

Items can be returned to us free of charge within 30 days. Please use the return form included in the parcel and the DHL return label, or the link provided in the shipping confirmation. Goods should be returned complete and in their original condition; sets must not be separated.

Yes. We deliver to the European Union member states listed on our shipping page. EU standard shipping costs €9.90; orders of €100 or more qualify for free shipping. Please check the country list or checkout to see whether we currently deliver to your destination country.

The specific delivery time is shown directly on the relevant product page and confirmed during the ordering process. For many products that are immediately available, we currently state a delivery time of approximately 1 to 3 working days. Delivery may take longer if availability differs or order volumes are seasonally high.

Depending on the country and order, available payment methods include PayPal, PayPal Express, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit card, SEPA direct debit and payment by invoice. iDEAL is available for the Netherlands and EPS for Austria. The payment methods displayed at checkout are definitive.

Payment by invoice is generally available, subject to a successful credit check. We provide the invoice with the shipping confirmation; it must be paid within 14 days of receipt. If the delivery address and billing address are different, we cannot offer payment by invoice.

Yes. We process payments using SSL encryption and, depending on the payment method, use specialised payment service providers. You can see which payment method and provider are used for your order at checkout and in our payment information.

Used, worn or washed goods, as well as custom-made items such as embroidered or printed products, are excluded from our voluntary returns or exchange service. Your statutory rights remain unaffected; our customer service team can assist you with individual cases.

Within Germany, our DHL standard shipping is free for orders of €60 or more. For orders below this value, we charge a flat shipping fee of €5.90. The terms shown at checkout and on the “Shipping & Delivery” page apply.
