MÖVE bathrobes are manufactured in Germany – made to the highest German standards. Our in-house production, including logistics, is based in Großschönau (Saxony), a place steeped in tradition, as European princes had precious damasks woven here as far back as the Baroque era. In 1856, the first terry weaving loom in Germany was put into operation in Großschönau, establishing an important centre for terry weaving.

Today, MÖVE produces bathrobes and other high-quality terry products on 30 Jacquard looms. Unique in the industry: MÖVE employs 240 staff and has a fully integrated production process, meaning the entire manufacturing process – from warp preparation to weaving, dyeing, and finishing – takes place on-site. Sustainability and environmental protection are equally prioritised alongside modern production, product quality, and the expertise of our employees.

The airy cotton terry material (250 g/m²) not only ensures excellent comfort but also dries quickly.

Care Tips for Black Bathrobes

Black terry is a completely hassle-free and easy-care fabric. It retains its colour and vibrancy best when washed from the start at 60°C using a specialised detergent without optical brighteners. The softness and fluffiness of the terry are best maintained by tumble drying; fabric softeners can be omitted or used sparingly, as they reduce absorbency and increase lint formation.

The elegant morning robe should be regularly machine washed with a mild detergent. Turn it inside out to protect the outer fabric during washing. Tumble drying is possible in exceptional cases. For an especially smooth and attractive finish, iron the robe briefly on a low setting after drying.

Always follow the care and washing instructions regarding wash and dry temperatures as well as the ironing setting!
