Practical options include a kilt for men or a sarong for women: these short, sleeveless bathrobes are like a towel you can wear.

Thanks to an elastic band or practical snap fasteners, they stay securely on the body without the need for tying. When walking from the sauna or pool to the changing room, you don’t have to worry about slipping and can easily raise your arms, for example when blow-drying your hair.

Wearable towel for the beach

A towel you can wear is also a great companion outdoors. The secure fit helps when changing discreetly at the beach. But a sarong or kilt is also ideal if you simply want to feel “dressed.” After all, when walking to the ice cream stand, you’re not just wearing a towel that could slip at any time, but a real garment that stays in place.

Are there size differences in wearable towels?

Most wearable towels come in a one-size fit. Thanks to the integrated elastic band, the width adapts to your body. With models that have snap fasteners, you can also adjust the fit in different ways.

Depending on body height, most sarongs or kilts are roughly knee-length, though they can be slightly longer or shorter.

What goes well with a kilt or sarong?
