The collection MÖVE GENTLEMAN
The signature pattern of the MÖVE GENTLEMAN collection is the classic pinstripe. This fabric is made by weaving a light-coloured thread onto a dark background and has its roots in the 19th century banking scene. Bankers would wear this fabric to identify themselves as members of the banking profession. During the 1920s when clothing started to be made on an industrial scale, the pinstripe suit with its wide shoulders and high narrow-cut waistline became a hugely popular item of clothing across the whole of society. Even though it was originally only men who would wear the pinstripe suit, women can now often be seen wearing pinstripes in one form or another. The styling possibilities are varied and endless, ranging from a severe look to a more casual style.
In the MÖVE GENTLEMAN collection, the pinstripe is the main ingredient of this elegant and masculine collection which has been created in deep sea and black combined with grey pinstripes. The modern interpretation of the classic design on towelling fabric is a real eyecatcher in any bathroom whether you choose the pinstripe with the herringbone looped hem or the more subtle pinstripe with the looped hem. The hand towels and bath towels are available in 50 x 100 and 80 x 150 cm respectively. A high-quality velour shawl collar dressing gown in deep sea/grey, available in sizes 48 to 56, complements the collection perfectly. A lightweight dressing gown is also available in grey with lighter coloured pinstripes and detailed piping in the same sizes as specified above.
The characteristic woven label, inspired by those used by gentlemen’s tailors, are used to embellish the dressing gowns and the towels and are the trademark of the collection.
Of course, our products are tested and certified for harmful substances according to the strict criteria of Oeko-Tex Standard 100. They can be washed hygienically clean at 60° C without any problems and dried in the gentle cycle of the tumble dryer. Thus our MÖVE GENTLEMAN is also ideally suited for allergy sufferers and sensitive baby skin (product class 1).
Like all our terry products, MÖVE GENTLEMAN is also produced in an innovative and complete quality and production process according to strict ecological and technical standards.
