Bath Towels from MÖVE – Quality Made in Germany
Terry products from MÖVE are exclusively manufactured in Germany, Made in Germany – according to the highest German standards. The in-house production, including logistics, is located in Großschönau (Saxony), a place with a rich tradition, as European princes had precious damasks woven here as early as the Baroque period. In 1856, the first terry loom in Germany was put into operation in Großschönau; an important center for terry weaving emerged.
Today, MÖVE produces bath towels and other high-quality terry products on 30 Jacquard looms. Unique in the industry: MÖVE employs 240 staff and has a fully integrated production, meaning the entire manufacturing process—from warp preparation through weaving and dyeing to finishing—takes place at its own facility. Sustainability and environmental protection are given equal importance alongside modern production, the quality of our towels, and the expertise of our employees.
What is a bath towel and how big is it?
A bath towel is referred to when the towel exceeds the classic hand towel size of 50 x 100 cm. At MÖVE, we offer a bath towel size of 100 x 160 cm. As the name suggests, a bath towel is perfect for drying off after a relaxing or refreshing bath due to its size. You can wrap yourself in it from head to toe, and because of its size, the bath towel can absorb significantly more moisture than a hand towel.

Our MÖVE bath towels are made from the finest raw materials with great attention to detail. They can be found exclusively in our MÖVE SUPERWUSCHEL collection – our classic for over 40 years. They are made of 100% finest cotton, which, due to its special properties, is particularly suitable for our fluffy bath towels. The distinctive piped border and the high-quality embroidered MÖVE logo make the bath towels something very special.
